Holiday Update



The Rye Holland wedding on Swiss Avenue's Aldredge House in Dallas was quite the event and I have the images to prove it! Really though, a wonderful couple and a beautiful event. Holiday lights on Swiss are quite the thing.

At the same time I had art for sale at the Dan's Silver Leaf Arts and Crafts show at Dan's in Denton. We managed to sell a few prints while the hat business Cimarrona went absolutely wild with customers and sales. Inventory on hats was pretty much whittled down to just a few hats remaining. The big news on the Cimarrona front is that another (much larger company) has appropriated the "Remade in the USA" slogan from Cimarrona. Well, I like the slogan and there's probably room for more than one company to use it.

More Stock Images on the Way

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday's weather relegated a Cimarrona Hat Company photo shoot to an indoor shoot utilizing our dark "den" to make it look like a coffee shop.

A few pots of coffee and anything is possible!

Today, of course, here in Texas at least the sun has come out for the first time in about a week. It may not last, but at least it was back for a day.

Be on the lookout for some stock images culled from the shoot as well as new Cimarrona Hat images.

Stock images can be found on iStockPhoto, Dreamstime and last and least Fotolia. Soon, images will also appear on Bigstockphoto.

It's difficult to know how much impact these microstock sites will have, but therir presence is undeniable and they are generating quite a buzz.
