Seeing the Britney Spears (BS) saga unfold, is there any doubt that at least in L.A. they eat their own.
On This side of the free world, there are a lot of new things in the works. There's a new website going up soon - dedicated to dentonartists, and aptly named dentonartists.com. This is a hub where people who teach art lessons, sell and repair instruments are listed so that they may have a presence on the web without all the hoopla that goes into doing what I am doing right now - building these sites. Another new site I will be building this Spring is a medical hub for people who need medical services in the North Texas area. It is www.dentonregionalmedicalservices.com, and this one has legs of its own. This year's mantra - diversify! What I do is still who I am, but it is fun to throw some of these long simmering concepts together and see if the contraptions will fly.
A fresh set of four images will go into Casa Galaviz in the next few days - images from a trip to Tulum. If you are a local, stop by CG's and see what's showing. The images are very ... tropical.
I most recently had a wonderful shoot in Texoma / Denison for Senior Resource Guide, a wonderful older couple who has traveled the world on safaris. The image is difficult to describe, but zoo would not do it justice.
Last weekend saw me at a local gallery / showroom the Bowlegged Cowboy (BC) way out on HWY 380. I was called in by the folks from Cowboys & Indians magazine to photograph a sculptor working in the BC as well as the owners of the BC. They were fantastic people and I only hope the images run in the magazine this year with a photo credit that is legible and larger than the two point type used for their last shoot.
