The Valley and Beyond

Pages are coming together slowly as the holiday rush gets in the way. Above image is from October trip to Rio Grande Valley where the sugar cane harvest has begun. All that smoke goes straight south to Mexico - about a three mile journey from this field. I wonder why they like us so much? Rumors have this area, this land, being turned into a "no man's land" - double fenced buffer between the US and Mexico. Never mind that it is still some of the most fertile land in the United States.

Changes in the Air

New site pages going up as I write. This will be an evolutionary process and a sentimental journey of discarding the old and bringing in the new. Some pages such as the photojournalism history page go back 20 years, and they are original site pages from 1994 when there were about ten people on the internet. Think I may have to keep that one!

Meanwhile a new and totally cool portrait photography page is online and running, but has yet to be optimized.

Photography to be featured from my latest journeys includes cane burning from South Texas and more.
