Delays Cold and Hot

Well, the G2 shoot was postponed due to production holdup with new CD. Tentative is December. Going south in December anyway to shoot the cane. Spotted a Praying Mantis on a bike ride the other day. This bugger can be purchased at istockphoto.com -- just click on my stock link.

Stars Aligning

Looks like a busy time shaping up. The Garcia Garcia project in the Rio Grande Valley is this weekend and want to take on a couple of editorial projects while I am there as well. The new site shannondrawe.com is coming along and we hope to take it live very soon. New portrait work and non-profit work coming soon.

Laguna Gloria Austin Texas

Did everyone but me know about Laguna Gloria in Austin? Chalk it up to lack of time in Central Texas I guess. This place is an absolute jewel with artists on the grounds, sculptures and a museum. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to stop and smell the roses, but it was a visual feast - at least what I saw of it.
Randi Weir and her fiance Jeffrey Simmons were in Austin from Boston, so we managed to do some photography before their whirlwind schedule of meetings with Austin wedding vendors kicked back into gear.
